Hey people…………..this is something i wrote a long time ago, I just bumped into it and thought to share. Enjoy
walking down my memory lane;
I take a break and think about a part of my life that brought so much pain,
Self-induced,i must say.am gonna cut me some slack cuz u know I’m humane.
T’was a time when my life was so plain,
Everything i did/had/thot/loved was all in one plane.
T’was a tym when optimisism was my passion,
I didn’t care about the world’s reaction.
Love was at the centre of every action,
Made plans,lotsa which i can’t mention.
When my world came crashing, it crashed slowly but it was fast in motion,
As a ‘que serai serai’ believer,i took it in good faith and vowed n’er to put myself in such a position.
Armed with this,breaking hearts became my mission,
I didn’t care from which ethnicity or nation.
Didn’t even consider my religion.
Thank God, i couldn’t begin the quest cuz am a girl full of emotions.
As i move back towards my present memory,
I’m full of smiles and joy cause my pain has turned to laughter.
Just when i thot love was a monster,
You came and bought my heart over.
Thank God I’m a ‘que serai serai’ believer.
I knew bliss would come and now am swimming in its water.
Thank u 4 being a life saver,
Mo ni ife re gaan and I hope this lasts forever.
